Yuki Saito came to the UK as an export buyer having gained her experience in several Japanese shops. In 2001 Yuki completed an HND in Jewellery and silversmithing, her final piece was awarded the Goldsmith Company award. Yuki furthered her studies at London Metropolitan University, graduating in 2004 with a BA degree. Yuki's work was selected to be exhibited at New Designers in 2001, 2004 and also 2005 on the One Year On stand by Craft Council. Since graduating Yuki has worked as a freelance designer gaining valuable experience in many different fields. Her unique collection of wigs have been used in theatre productions, window displays.

She had commissioned Selfridges Christmas window display 2006 and St Valentine day window for Coco de Mer. Her work has displayed at Somerset House 2007.
Yuki is passionate about the baroque French period for its drama and theatricality. Her creations use a variety of construction processes such as felt making and jewellery techniques. Her use of materials is innovative, unique to wig making and create an object of dramatic beauty.
